Family Rooms

All our individually designed Family twin rooms can sleep up to three guests with three single beds. Three out of the four family rooms are positioned to the back of the hotel with a city view, the forth family room is positioned at the front facing the sea.
The rooms offer: TV, free Wi-Fi, tea/coffee making facilities, luxurious toiletries and an suite private bathroom. In addition we offer ironing facilities and a hair dryer is available upon request.

Luxury Room

Our quality designed Luxury rooms offer an incredible view overlooking the award-winning Southsea Common with some excellent views of the Solent and Isle of Wight. The rooms come with a King size bed.
The rooms offer: TV, free Wi-Fi, tea/coffee making facilities, luxurious toiletries and an suite private bathroom. In addition we offer ironing facilities and a hair dryer is available upon request.

King room

Our magnificently designed King room is a spacious room positioned at the front of the hotel facing the seaside.

Superior Double Room

Our carefully designed Superior Double room offers a large spacious room positioned at the front of the hotel facing the seaside overlooking Southsea common.

Executive Room

Our intricately designed Executive rooms offer a well-equipped comfortable stay. Positioned at back of the hotel with a city view.

Double room

Reception times:

Our reception is staffed from 8am to 10pm .

Breakfast
Free breakfast is not included with your standard room rate. If you would like to order a continental breakfast simply request from our reception team when you check in.

Terms and Conditions:
The following Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made on this website.

Bookings
At the time of booking or at check-in, Q8 Boutique Hotel will take your credit/debit card details and you authorise the use of this card for any sums that become owing to us. No Booking shall be treated as confirmed until the details and/or payment/deposit have been provided.

Charges
The prices displayed on the Websites are an average per night per person until a rate is selected. Once a rate is selected, the total for your requested stay shall be displayed on the reservation summary. VAT will be payable at the prevailing rate applicable at the tax point of the invoice or Booking confirmation issued.

Check-in/ Check-out Requirements
For the purpose of security and prevention of fraud, at the time of check-in, guests may be required to confirm their identity by providing their booking reference; passport/identity card/driving licence and a valid credit or debit card which will be swiped in the presence of the card holder. These records will be kept for at least 12 months and may be disclosed or made available for inspection by any police officer or as otherwise required by applicable law in connection with the prevention or investigation of crime. Q8 Boutique Hotel reserve the right to refuse entry to persons who cannot provide the information set out. Guests may check-in at any time from 14.00 hrs. on the scheduled day of arrival. All rooms that have been secured by credit/debit card or prepaid at the time of booking will he held until 23.30 hrs on the scheduled day of arrival unless otherwise agreed with the Hotel. If your reservation is not secured it will be held until 17.00 hrs on the day of arrival. After this time we will re-let the room, unless the guest has notified the hotel of a late arrival.

Out-of-Hours check in must be prearranged prior to your arrival.

On the day of departure we kindly ask all guests to vacate their rooms at 11.00 hrs. Late check-out after this time can be requested subject to availability and will be charged at an hourly rate at the discretion of Q8 Boutique Hotel.
Twin rooms are for two persons maximum. Double rooms are for two persons maximum. Single rooms are for one person maximum. Family rooms are for three persons maximum.

Children
All children i.e. those under 16 years of age that stay at the Hotel must be accompanied by an adult.

Payment
Q8 Boutique Hotel accept all debit and credit card payments.
The card you booked with must be presented on arrival, along with the appropriate ID.
At the time of check-in we will authorise the accommodation charges (room rate, VAT and any service charge)
All outstanding charges must be paid for in full on check-out from the Hotel.

Failure to show and Cancellation Policy
The cancellation policy varies according to the rate that is booked. Please refer to the individual full rate descriptions given at booking.
Q8 Boutique Hotel require full prepayment for the entire stay at the time of the Booking and this is non-refundable. The booking may be changeable subject to agreement with us. Prepayment is charged to the credit/debit card supplied at the time of the Booking. Cancellation or non-arrival will incur the booking cost.
On rare occasion, we may need to cancel your Booking. In such circumstances you will be given a full refund but we shall have no further liability to you arising out of such cancellation.
We cannot guarantee that you will be able to stay in a specific room or in the same room for the duration of your stay but we endeavour to try our best on room selection.

Damage

Q8 Boutique Hotel reserve the right which you hereby authorise to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the Hotel during your stay or for any items that are missing when you leave.

No Smoking

Guests are not permitted to smoke in rooms or public areas at Q8 Boutique Hotel.

Parking

Parking permits are limited and can be bought from the reception. Please be aware that the parking permits are only valid for specific spaces. The hotel management and staff will not be responsible if the guest parks their car in the wrong spaces or road. Specifically, the parking permit is not valid for parking at Avenue de Caen.

Accessibility

There are stairs leading up to the hotel reception which may unfortunately cause access issues for some of our customers. However, we do have rooms available on our ground floor.

Expected behaviour of our Guests
Guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to show respect to the property of the Q8 Boutique Hotel, its employees and guests and their health and safety. Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the running of the Hotel, or cause offence to other guests or our staff. We may refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from the Hotel if we reasonably consider you to have carried out any of the above. In such a case we will not refund you for lost accommodation or any other loss.

Pets

No pets are permitted at the Q8 Boutique Hotel.

Storing of Personal Information

Q8 Boutique Hotel has the utmost respect for storing our clients Personal Information. Please refer to our Privacy policy.

Limitation of Liability

There is no liability and no compensation available where the performance of the hotels obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control. This includes fire, acts of God, acts of terrorism, failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, computers etc.

Q8 Boutique Hotel will not be responsible for the loss or damage of any property left in the Hotel other than as required under the Hotel Proprietor’s Act. Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the charges received by it under the Contract.

Liability for death or personal injury caused by Q8 Boutique Hotel’s negligence or liability for fraud is not excluded.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The Contract and any non-contractual obligations arising in connection with it are governed by English law. The English courts have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any dispute.
